Counselling
Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you to help you find ways to deal with emotional issues in a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and confidential setting. Your therapist will help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours so that you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.
A counsellor will not give you their opinions or advice or prescribe medication. They will help you to find your own solutions, gain clarity and explore your feelings and thoughts in a way that makes sense to you. They will listen to you without judgment and help you to explore your thoughts and emotions. They may offer information, but they won’t tell you what you should think or do.
Most therapy takes place in planned, regular weekly sessions which last for 50 minutes.
Counselling can be particularly helpful with the following issues:
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Low Mood & Depression
- Relationship difficulties
- Bereavement & loss
- Divorce & separation
- Feelings of Guilt
- Self-confidence and self-esteem
Getting the right relationship and fit with your therapist is very important. If you’re to work effectively together you should feel safe and able to take risks by disclosing and discussing sensitive issues including being able to give your counsellor honest feedback on how you feel about your therapy and how you’re working together.
For further information about counselling please visit the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) website who are the professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK.

Homeopathy
Homeopathy is widely used throughout the world to address a great many conditions. Some people are inclined to use more natural ways to help with their health, others come to homeopathy when they find that other methods are not providing the effects they had hoped for – however you get here everyone is welcome.
Homeopathy helps by viewing each person as unique, experiencing their health issues in ways that are different to other people. This means that your homeopath will match your physical sensations together with your emotional state to a remedy (or set of remedies) that are most suited to you as an individual. There are no blanket prescriptions, each case is analysed independently to ensure an individualised approach.
Many people are attracted to homeopathy because of its gentle, non-addictive yet powerful, holistic “whole person” approach where each patient is listened to and treated entirely as a unique individual.
Users appreciate the patient-centred approach and the time and care taken to understand them as wholly as possible.
People seek help from homeopathy for all sorts of health conditions, but the most common conditions (according to NHS.uk) that people seek homeopathic treatment for are:
- Asthma
- Ear Infections
- Hay fever
- Depression
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Allergies
- Dermatitis
- Arthritis
- High Blood Pressure
Homeopathy works with your body’s own healing powers to bring about a return to health and wellbeing. Based on the principle of ‘like cures like’, your homeopath will select the most appropriate medicine based on your individual situation and symptoms.
For the last 200 years, homeopathy has been used worldwide with 15% of UK citizens – around 9 million people – finding the answers they are looking for in homeopathy and the World Health Organisation (WHO 2004) has declared it as the 2nd most used medical system worldwide.
We have treated people with extremely wide-ranging symptoms, some of which were mild, some serious, some long-term, some short-term, some physical, some mental or emotional.
Homeopathy has been shown to have clinical effectiveness in a number of health conditions. If you’re not sure if homeopathy is suitable for you please call us for a no-obligation chat about it.
Where appropriate, we are happy to work with other health professionals that you may be visiting so that you can get the best out of your treatment.
Homeopathic remedies
Homeopathic remedies are highly dilute solutions of materials from the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms; they are non-toxic, non-addictive and suitable for all the family.
Homeopathic appointments
An adult initial session will last for 90 minutes allowing plenty of time for your homeopath to gain an in-depth understanding not only of your physical symptoms but also your mental and emotional state as well. Appropriate non-invasive, gentle tests may be carried out during the session to provide further information, allowing us to develop a treatment program unique to you as a true individual.
You will be given the time to discuss your symptoms fully and allow your homeopath to understand how they impact your life so your experience can be matched to a specific remedy or set of remedies.
You’ll also be asked about your lifestyle, personality and general habits, everything you say will be valued and considered during the prescribing process. Each case is analysed independently to ensure a bespoke approach.
After the consultation, homeopathic remedies will be prescribed that will best suit you as an individual and your experience of your condition.

Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy that helps you to create positive change by working with your subconscious mind.
It involves a state of deep guided relaxation and focused awareness, where your mind becomes more open to positive suggestions, allowing you to address deep-seated beliefs, habits or emotional patterns that may be holding you back.
Many of the beliefs that shape our confidence, success, and overall well-being are formed in childhood or through past experiences and are deeply ingrained in the subconscious.
These beliefs can lead to feelings of inadequacy, fear of failure, or self-sabotage.
Unlike stage hypnosis, clinical hypnotherapy is a safe, guided process that allows you to break free from negative thought patterns, limiting beliefs, and self-doubt.
Clinical hypnotherapy can support your personal growth and transformation helping you to reprogram old patterns, build new, empowering behaviours and beliefs that align with your goals, and help you to move forward with confidence.
To make sure that clinic hypnotherapy is the right approach for you we invite you to have a discovery call with your therapist.

Integrative Energy Healing
Integrative Energy Rebalancing Healing Session
This beautiful session offers healing and alignment through a blend of Reiki, Anusha and Sound. You will leave feeling relaxed, rebalanced and nourished.
Reiki brings you into balance and harmony, really calming the mind and emotions. It stimulates the body’s metabolism and detoxification systems, whilst also strengthening the immune system to aid the body’s own natural healing ability.
Anusha’s high vibrational energy is like a beam of pure light, with its own intelligence, which goes straight to where it needs to go. It helps us to be aware of and then to release patterns and blocks that no longer serve us. This then empowers us to be all we can be. It nourishes and nurtures us and facilitates the flow of self-healing, self-love and self-acceptance and with this brings a deep sense of inner peace.
The energy healing of Reiki and Anusha may relieve stagnant energy, stress and tension and provide vitality to help aid the healing process in all layers, mental, emotional, physical and spiritual, to come to a state of wholeness. As you work through these layers natural self-healing is promoted, anxiety reduced, and a sense of balance restored.
Sound is also included (where appropriate) with singing bowls played around you. The healing sounds, frequency and vibration flow from the bowls and enter the physical and subtle energy fields, moving you from a place of imbalance to wholeness.
During the session chakras, meridians and life force energies are cleansed and brought into balance and you are left with a beautiful feeling of peace and calm.
Your therapist will discuss with you any issues that you would like incorporated into your treatment and will also be guided intuitively to areas that are beneficial for you.
You will be asked to lie fully clothed on a massage bed and the healing can be performed either through light touch or no touch, if you prefer.
Sessions are tailored to each person, so no session is ever the same. You will get exactly what you need in that particular time and space.

Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional therapy helps people who have symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, food allergies/intolerance or people who want to manage their weight.
You don’t have to have a diagnosis to have nutritional therapy, you could be fed up with unpredictable bowels, skin issues, fatigue, headaches, pain or bloating – these can all be signs of poor gut health.
People often want nutritional therapy when they have had medical tests but have been told that nothing is wrong. Or they have tried some general dietary approaches that haven’t worked either.
You will be asked to complete a questionnaire and you’ll then have an online one-to-one meeting with your therapist to discuss potential root causes for your symptoms. Your therapist will then help you to decide on an approach that is specifically suitable for you.
During your nutritional therapy programme you will be asked to adjust your diet in a way that fits with your dietary preferences and lifestyle. You will be asked to keep a food and mood journal to monitor your progress and guide any changes, and you will meet with your therapist of a regular basis.
Advice can also be given about functional testing and nutritional supplements if required (testing and supplements are additional to the package costs).
Your therapist is available between appointments to answer any questions that you might have.
To make sure that nutritional therapy is the right approach for you we invite you to have a 30 minute discovery call with your therapist.

Vega Testing
We are able to quickly and precisely test hundreds of substances and ingredients to read the body’s electromagnetic response providing insight and guiding dietary advice.
What happens at an appointment?
You will be asked many questions about your health, diet, lifestyle and environment – this is so that any results can be assessed in terms of your particular experience.
At the end of your appointment, we may recommend an elimination or avoidance period of some foods or substances and we will give guidance on how you can best achieve this to suit your lifestyle, preferences etc.
After this time you will be asked to return for follow up testing and review.
Do I need a follow-up appointment?
The follow up appointment is an integral part of your progression as it is important to understand if the measures that you have been advised to take have been successful. We also need to understand if you need to continue with the plan, and if you need any longer term advice including recommendations for nutrition or lifestyle.
If the measures you have been advised to take have only been partially successful, or not successful, then we would look in detail at how closely you have been able to follow the guidance and any other factors that may be relevant.
All information and responses give significant information for your healthcare going forward and sometimes another approach may be indicated.
There could also be circumstances where you may be referred to another healthcare practitioner or your doctor.
*Vega testing is not suitable for people fitted with pacemakers.
